Dear March 4 Education Committee and Supporters,

I pray all is well with all of you. We are physically tired, but not out by any means. The last two days we have marched 12 miles each day and it has taken its toll, but we have a great group of marchers with us. We have already marched 31 miles!

We are currently in Fairfield on our way to Vacaville.

We had a great Easter Sunday March and Gathering at Solano Community College. It was a beautiful time of sharing with an amazing group of folks.

Here’s what we have that’s new:

1.) We need your help in contacting the Governor. Also can someone fax all of our articles to the Governor’s Office. We have to blitz him hard via phone call, email and faxes.

IN THE NEWS:

2.) There will be a short article today on the march and our progress in the San José Mercury News.

3.) Reporters from the San Francisco Chronicle will come out today.

4.) Ana Contreras will come out today from the West County Times with a photographer.

5.) On Saturday three news media outlets came out including NBC and Univisión.

6.) It has been hard to set up the mobile office during the march, but not impossible. :)

7.) A student at UC Davis is sending out her own press release for our rally on Thursday at noon.

8.) The Vacaville paper, "The Reporter", came out yesterday and took photos of our march.

9.) As you know, Friday night we had CBS, NBC, KRON, KTVU, Univisión, Telemundo, KCBS Radio, AP, SF Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, West County Times and ABC from Sacramento come out.

Please feel free to contact us on the road at 510.388.3587.

You can check out our route at the website. Join us!
